If you don’t already own this staple, you should be taken out back and shot. I bought their digital box set a while back, and this album was definitely the best of the bunch. If you dig on any of the post punk acts that are around today (e.g., Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds to Mars, Hawthorne Heights), then do yourself a favor and check out this little-known group. Electronica with training wheels. This album should appeal to most everyone. The singer, Imogen Heap, is better known for her more recent solo albums — which are also pretty good. Another one with an extremely high “Play Count” in my library I’ve listened to this album about fifty times since I bought it in July. It’s awesome, and I’d recommend it for anyone. |
